[ATrpms-users] madwifi package

Hello all,

New guy here. I'm trying to install madwifi on FC6 using this:

yum --enablerepo=atrpms install madwifi

It complains near the end that a newer kernel is already installed (2895)
and apparently madwifi wants to install an older one.
madwifi-0.9.3-31_r1865.fc6.at.i386.rpm is older than that kernel, so
(without looking) it seems that needs updating.

Is there some simple work-around to get my wifi working?
