Hi, folks
I have finished packing all applications related to icecast.
http://icecast.org/
All packages are available for FC5 and FC6.
http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/rpms
icecast (rebuilt for FC5)
MuSE (*)
ices (fixed rpm from extras, ogg only)
ices0 (equivalent to ices, but broadcasts mp3)
icegenerator (*) (id3v2, mysql and postgre support)
mpd
phpMp (web interface for mpd)
darkice
ezstream
liveice (*)
(*) packages I have not tested broadcasting a real stream for more than a
few minutes

I have to say that it is possible to transmit ogg, or mp3 streams even using
an ADSL modem (1.0 Mb/s).
If there is some practical utility for those not interested on building an
Internet radio,
I do not know. Maybe for broadcasting for all rooms in a house, or for
having all of
your mp3 collection at work, without carrying anything in the pocket.
Have fun.
