I'm still waiting for my download to complete - and I'm selecting 
mirrors in Asia too :(

...it's still not clear to me why smart tells me daily that there are 
updates, including atrpm specific ones, and yet it won't let me install 
them.

I would have expected for smart to just eventually consistently say 
there are no updates, rather than to produce errors when it tries to 
download them.

Is this really the correct behaviour?
