[ATrpms-users] fuse kmdl

Maybe I don't understand the total rationale behind 3rd party
repositories such as ATrpms. Suddenly there's a fuse module that can be
installed from ATrpms but, since there's one bundled with FC6, why would
I want to use it? I have been sensitized to the recent problem with
ntfs-3g (http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=221420)
requiring an update to the version of fuse (spent 2 hours on it
yesterday) so that may have been the impetus to roll this out but there
was just a new ntfs-3g update from Fedora extras that also addressed the
issue.

Please educate me as to why I would want to use one module over another
so I can make intelligent decisions.
