[ATrpms-users] Yum and Smart don't offer kmdl packages

what you provided was what I meant :)

It's already evident in the first lines. For some reason the plugin
is not loaded on your system. A normal startup would yield:

# yum update
Loading "kmdl" plugin
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
...

you already checked that the config file is OK. Next I would check
yum.conf, where you can also turn off (all) plugins. If that doesn't
help, use rpm -V on yum and yum-plugin-kmdl to see whether something
nuked/changed these packages.
