[ATrpms-users] Howto patch and rebuild one module from Mythtv?

I've been agitating for some time about a fairly unimportant but 
annoying hardware related problem (trac #1970) in the myth dvbrecorder, 
and a patch has just been committed that sounds as if it really could 
fix it.

Is there a simple guide that would help me to build just the affected 
section, rather than the whole Myth suite, before Axel does the next 
full update?  I'd like to give a bit of rapid feedback - although I 
suspect that, in reality, it wouldn't be all that rapid.
