I saw the 2003 entry but both that and even the June 2006 version
PRE-DATE rc1 which DID WORK on both linux and windoze.
So, it must have been a change sometime in the past year or so between
rc1 and rc2.
Even though the problem is not atrpms-specific (or even linux specific
since rc2 is also broken on my windoze installation), I am posting
here because I'm not sure that other people care as much that mythtv
files don't work on mplayer rc2. I did however post this as a bug also
on mplayer bugzilla.
I'm happy to help troubleshoot if you have any suggestions.
It would also be good if others could confirm that they are having the
same problem with playing mythtv recordings on mplayer.
