No, that would be heresy! :=)

The real reason is that the src.rpm will be missing some BuildRequires
which happens to exist on your system. I think it's libusb-devel or
maybe something else.

Care to file this as a bugzilla? Add you pathc to the specfile with a
proper %changelog entry and bumping the release please, as
