Though I was hoping to avoid some kind of dependency hell...smart requires :

        rpm-python >= 4.4 is needed by smart-0.50-47.fc6.i386
        smart-config is needed by smart-0.50-47.fc6.i386

but neither of those are there.

Is there a set of instructions that I can follow to get it working?
