I don't either :)
(but 2.6.21-1.3228_1.fc7.cubbi_suspend2 shouldn't exits in the repo
anymore, perhaps you missed a smart update? Not that that would
explain anything)

That's an upstream change, not a package level change. I also don't
know why, but I assume it's to differentiate from the conventional
suspend mechanism in the kernel. suspend2 implied that it was the
successor to suspend, while in reality it is perhps more like a
separate branch by now.
