Thanks for tip. I tried it but ran into a number of problems. First problem
was that the channels configuration files for smart were still pointing to
the FC4 repositories. I removed the channels configuration files and then
smart did not find anything. I then restored them and edited them by hand.
That seems to work for the fedora repositories, but not for the atrpms. My
configuration file atrpms.channel is now:
#
# atrpms
# Fedora Core 6 - i386 - ATrpms
#
[atrpms]
name=Fedora Core 6 - i386 - ATrpms
baseurl=http://dl.atrpms.net/fc6-i386/atrpms
components=stable
type=apt-rpm
... (testing and bleeding are disabled)
When running smart upgrade --update, it complains with:
Fetching information for 'Fedora Core 6 - i386 - ATrpms'...
-> http://dl.atrpms.net/fc6-i386/atrpms/base/release
release [
0%]
error: Failed acquiring information for 'Fedora Core 6 - i386 - ATrpms':
error: http://dl.atrpms.net/fc6-i386/atrpms/base/release: Not Found
For some reason it adds 'base' to the path. Should the 'type' be different
from apt-rpm ?
best regards
