smart keeps trying to play with nvidia packages in a strange way. i
cant' quite figure out what's going on. i blew away the smart cache and
xml in /var/lib/smart and forced it to do all up new. and nothing
changed.

here's what i currently have installed:

[root at junior alsa]# rpm -qa | grep nvidia
nvidia-graphics-helpers-0.0.14-15.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics8774-kmdl-2.6.17-1.2174_FC5-1.0_8774-75.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics8774-1.0_8774-75.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics8774-libs-1.0_8774-75.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics-1.0.8774-13.at
nvidia-graphics-devices-1.0-5.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics8774-devel-1.0_8774-75.fc5.at
nvidia-graphics-devel-1.0.8774-13.at

but smart keeps wanting to:

upgrade to nvidia-graphics-legacy-devel 2:1.0.7184-13.at
 from nvidia-graphics8774-devel 1:1.0_8774-75.fc5.at

and

install nvidia-graphics7184-libs 1:1.0_7184-74.fc5.at because it's
required by 7184-devel

and

downgrade nvidia-graphics-devel 2:1.0.8774-13.at
to nvidia-graphics7184-devel 1:1.0_7184-74.fc5.at because it's required
by the legacy devel package.

this just doesn't seem to make any sense to me at all.

is this all because of the 2: in nvidia-graphics-legacy-devel?

what am i missing?

[i *think* i didn't typo the package info]
