[ATrpms-users] problems using smart, rpm

Hi,

I upgraded to FC6 and although mostly very successful, I do have a problem 
with smart and rpm. I'm on a x86_64 box.

After I reboot, I can use smart just fine. The problem is that once I quit it 
and try to update the next day it doesn't work any more.
The smart window is not responsive and also rpm shows problems.
When I type "rpm -qa" for example it will just show two lines and  stay there 
forever :
=> rpm -qa
perl-XML-Encoding-1.01-27
faac-1.24-0.lvn.3.4

After I reboot I can update once more.

Any ideas ?
