I appreciate that, thanks.

But how do I set framespergop?  None of the binaries's --help texts indicates
how to do this, and the closest I can guess without documentation of some kind
is using "v4l2-ctl -d /dev/dvr0 --get-ctrl= " or something?

Any help would be appreciated.  I really need to control the framespergop on
my recordings.
