[ATrpms-users] suspend2 not detecting lid close

I recently decided to try using suspend-to-ram via Suspend2 instead of 
hibernate.  No problem getting it to do so - just switched:

## Powerdown method - 3 for suspend-to-RAM, 4 for ACPI S4 sleep, 5 for 
poweroff
PowerdownMethod 4

to:

PowerdownMethod 3

Works like a charm if I manually invoke the hibernate script. However, 
if I simply close the lid, nothing happens.  I tried to figure out what 
changed but simply going back to ACPI S4 sleep always works with the lid 
while S3 will always fail.  I've simply been doing the manual hibernate 
as a workaround.

Is there something I'm missing to have the closed lid invoke S3?
