Absolutely not! Do you mean videos or recordings. For the former you
have to explicitly set the player to use (e.g. xine or mplayer or
Internal). The keybindings will vary according to the player you
select, but they all respond to the keyboard. If you run mythfrontend
from a terminal you should see a message telling you what the problem
is.
