Hello,

I want to install mythtv suite on RHEL4 (Centos 4.4)
system. In the future this system should be the
backend of the mythtv setup. I can only install mythtv
(using yum) when the gnome desktop of KDE desktop is
uninstalled. I read in Atrmps mail archives from Thu
Sep 14 21:18:06 CEST 2006 that is caused by the
upwards incompatible library libexif between versions
0.5.12 and 0.6.13
In this same thread there is a solution given, can
somebody explain if this fix will solve my issue, and
what steps I need to follow to apply this solution?
