I've had a PVR250 working flawlessly since version 0.1.7 of the ivtv 
driver, right up to 0.7.1 with FC5.  Upgrading to 0.8.0 with kernel 
2.6.18 (which is the same kernel that FC6 uses) resulted in firmware 
errors and the kernel module wouldn't load.

Going back to 2.6.17 / 0.7.1 worked again.

Like many people say - if it ain't broke, don't fix it :)
