What's the best way to re-create a *.src.rpm package?

And one last thing, what's the easiest way to recompile a kernel module?
As an example, I patched in the linux source code the sonypi.c and
that's just what I want to recompile. What I've done for now is
recompiling the whole kernel.src.rpm ,, which is huge !
