[ATrpms-users] saa7134-alsa and alsa-kmdl-2.6.16-1.2096

Hi

I no longer can load the saa7134-alsa module, after updating alsa with
the alsa-kmdl-2.6.16-1.2096_FC5.x86_64 1.0.11-46_rc5.rhfc5.at
c log below.

Thinking that this might be just an issue of having to recompile V4l , I
compiled and installed the v4l modules. But I am getting the same error
after installing V4l and loading saa7134-alsa. Loading the saa7134-oss (
not incl in FC5) driver does work and I am getting sound from the TV
capture card, by routing the sound through sox.
In addition I downloaded the alsa 1.0.11 release and compiled and
installed it. But I am getting the same errors as before.

I can work around the issue of course by just using the saa7134-oss
drivers, but those drivers are not part of FC5.

Any idea of what might be the cause of this ???
