No, everything is working. The "tainted" message means that you have
loaded a non-GPL module, e.g. a closed source module which the nvidia
drivers are. The tainted is important for kernel developers as when
they see a bug report on a tainted kernel they can refuse to debug it
(due to the closed source nature of some of the kernel modules)

So if you use nvidia or madwifi or anything else non-GPL licensed you
will always see the tained message. But technically it means that the
module was successfully loaded :)
