Silly me - I should have realised that this problem was
going to impact more than just the atiusb driver. I didn't
think beyond the error messages mentioned in the bug report.
I've added an updated patch in Bugzilla that should
hopefully catch all of the occurrences of this problem, but
it's as yet untested because my FC5 box is at home.
Also, the fix used by the lirc people uses an #if
LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KERNEL_VERSION(2,6,16) check, and I'm
not sure how this is going to play with the Fedora 2.6.15
kernel.
