Yes, I noticed that, too in installs-from-scratch. I think this is due
to anaconda not doing the rpm business iteslf anymore but delegating
it to yum.

You should tell us. :) It did seem to work in your case. I guess you
will need the typical kmdl upgrade runs that you need anyway when you
upgrade a kernel. Also make sure to run smart fix to see whether
anaconda blew any dependency holes in your system.

Other than that I wouldn't think of anything that may need
attention. Of course an anaconda/apt/smart/yum upgrade won't install
really new software, so you'll have to explore the new bits of FC5.
