I dont quite get this.
Why do I have alsa-kmdl:s for 2.6.16, but not for 2.6.17?

 cat /proc/asound/version

does this mean that the kernel driver is loaded?

does this mean that all is supposed to be ok?

aplay -l says no soundcards, and alsamixer fails.
