Hey,

I seem to be having a few problems with the latest nvidia graphics
packages for x86_84:

# yum upgrade kernel
-- upgrades to 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5 x86_64

# yum install nvidia-graphics8762
-- installs -libs -devel -kmdl -devices etc etc

# init 3
# nvidia-graphics-switch 8762
-- no error
# tail /var/log/messages
Jun 3 01:20:14 benlancaster init: Switching to runlevel: 3
Jun 3 01:20:44 benlancaster kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:00.0
[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 20
Jun 3 01:20:44 benlancaster kernel: NVRM: loading NVIDIA Linux
x86_64 Kernel Module 1.0-8762 Mon May 15 13:58:14 PDT 2006

# init 5
# tail /var/log/messages
Jun 3 01:21:42 benlancaster kernel: NVRM: not using NVAGP, kernel
was compiled with GART_IOMMU support!!

So there you go, am a bit stumped as to what's caused the problem as
the exact same setup worked fine for i386 before I install FC5 x86_64

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I have installed the
kernel-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5.src.rpm from fedora-updates in order to
build the CVS v4l-dvb.

Thanks!
