Hi,

Via the ivtv-users list I found out the only way to get ivtv working on a system with < 2Gb mem on a xen0 kernel is by adding the parameter swiotlb=32M to the kernel module parameter list:

title Fedora Core (2.6.16-1.2122_FC5xen0)
root (hd0,6)
kernel /xen.gz-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5
module /vmlinuz-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5xen0 ro root=LABEL=/root2 swiotlb=32M
module /initrd-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5xen0.img

Is it possible that when installing ivtv on a xen0 kernel this parameter is automatically added, or the user is warned?

Thanks,
Sietse
