[ATrpms-users] alsa-driver and video4linux

Hi,

I have a weird problem with the sound of mythtv. To make a long story
short, somebody advised that I should update alsa.

There is only one problem. My capture card (Avermedia A169) is not yet
in the kernel, so I need the v4l-dvb mercery repository with some
additonel patches.
With the standard kernel, these modules works. If I install the
alsa-kmdl package together with the alsa-driver and alsa-driver-devel,
I get errors on saa7134-alsa:

disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_new
Unknown symbol snd_pcm_new
disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_lib_ioctl

I think that the v4l repository is not build against the correct alsa
drivers. How can I fix this?
