There is no such folder on my system. :)

Now I see, you are using modified sources, as you write further
below. See my comments at the end.

You shouldn't pick a tarfile and modify its contents w/o changing the
name. And for packaging purposes one should always use the pristine
sources and add changes as Patch entries and new files as Source
entries.
