I just installed ivtv 0.7 from here http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/stable/
Now my systems boots fine and ivtv loads fine it seems. I just can't starft 
mythtv because some stupid database seems to be locked (probably because of 
the numerous reboots I did in the past day).
