Why is there a conflict ?
If someone has both a pvr-250/350 and a bt878 based card in a box, it would
mean they couldn't work together ?
I uninstalled the video4linux stuff (I don't own a bt878 card anyway), but
here the 2.6.17 kernel with latest IVTV still don't work at all.
Worse than that, every ivtv version over the past few months had a problem. I
need about 10 reboots to make things start. Most of the time udev doesn't
even start up.
For me there's so far only ONE stable ivtv and that was ivtv-0.3 version.
Ever since I run FC5 I haven't found a version that does work 100% well. I
need a dozen reboots to get one successful boot and it's been like this for
months now. Today's upgrade is the worst ever. It hardly even boots (haven't
seen a successful boot for the past half hour now, rebooting straight in a
row). It always stops at "Starting udev".
Regards,
Marcel
