Hum, I forced smart to use the mplayer package from Freshrpms instead

now, when I do smart update it tells me that there's no updated available.
However, yum tells me there's a lot of new package such as a new
kernel, but fails with:
--> Running transaction check
--> Processing Dependency: mplayer = 1.0 for package: mencoder
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: mplayer = 1.0 is needed by package mencoder
