Please excuse the cross-post...I'm getting similar errors:
2006-07-03 13:27:58.962 TVRec(2): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
Channel has been changed to 2.
2006-07-03 13:27:59.992 ret_pid(7412) child(7412) status(0x0)
2006-07-03 13:27:59.997 External Tuning program exited with no error
Error getting codec params
IVTV_IOC_G_CODEC:: Invalid argument
did fixes ever get released downstream? if so, sorry for the noise...
also:
ivtv: version 0.8.0 (development snapshot compiled on Thu Jun 29
14:11:00 2006) loading
should I drop back to 0.7.0? would the fixes for 0.7.0 / 2.6.17 get
into the 0.8.0 tree? Since this thread ended on the 28th, and my ivtv
was compiled on the 29th, I'm guessing it's somewhere in the pipe.
right?
I would just drop all the way back to 2.6.16-1.2115_FC4, except that
the ivtv kernel module somehow disappeared after I upgraded and of
course it's no longer on atrpms.
I bet I will just have to be patient, huh.
