[ATrpms-users] 1656 Kernel and ivtv problem

John, I too am having problems with ivtv 0.4.1 and the 1656  
kernel...would you please elaborate on what you mean by 'no /dev/ 
video0'?  Does the device not get created, or does it simply not work?

I have a /dev/video0, but test captures yield files of zero size.  I  
am also seeing some i2c related warning messages in dmesg when I try  
to cat /dev/video0, for what it's worth.  I'm wondering whether my  
problem is the same as yours.

I'm reading the ivtv list as well, but so far I haven't found anything.
