[ATrpms-users] high cpu usage... is MMX *really* enabled?

Hey all,

I've recently upgraded to an Athlon 4200+ CPU and have also upgraded
to the latest rpm of mythtv (release: 148.fc5.at)

I'm experiencing *extremely* high CPU usage when playing back HDTV to
the tune of 90-100% and getting frequent prebuffering pauses.

I've been trying to figure out what the problem is, and finally, I
decided to disable MMX/SSE instructions using nvidia-settings.  The
results is that playback is *the same* with it enabled, or disabled.

My question: is there any way to verify that mythtv-frontend is
*indeed* using MMX?
