[ATrpms-users] Audio problem with mythtv .20

After a long fight I finally have audio with FC5 x86_64 on nforce 4 with intel8x0 sound card. If I play a video with mplayer from command line, it works great passing dts or DD to my receiver using the optical out. I setup an mplayer config file to save my settings. From within mythtv, I can only get analog out from mplayer even if I set the flags in the setup. The console shows a warning: audio codex 0x1e4abd0: id(AC3) type (Audio) already open, leaving it alone. This gets my 2 channel audio out of the spdif. why won't my mplayer configs of "-ao alsa:device=default -afm hwac3" work in mythtv? This worked fine in Mythtv .19 on FC5.
