[ATrpms-users] Version of mplayer

I have this version of mplayer installed on my FC5 system:

I am having trouble playing some ABC Australia News streams using
MythStream. I have been playing the Windows Media (WMV) streams that
they provide but I am getting terrible problems with scene changes
where the old scene seems to blur in with the new scene making it
pretty much unwatchable. So then I tried their Real Media streams but
this causes my version of mplayer to crash. I have been advised on the
mplayer mailling list to upgrade to the latest SVN version, but I only
install binary rpm packages and I don't want to start having to get
into compiling etc. I was wondering whether it would be possible to
release a latest mplayer version as a binary rpm?

Have a good Christmas one and all - especially Axel who works so hard
to make things easier for the rest of us.
