This was my first thought but I had installed the official FC6 kernel 
earlier today via yum with no such problem.  That is, I was offered the 
686 version only.  Other than the initial install of FC6, which 
installed the 585 kernel, I've had no problems other than with ATrpms' 
Suspend2 kernels.  Now, if someone can tell me that it's related to the 
original bug, I'll more than happy to attach my experiences to the bug 
listed above...
