[ATrpms-users] Asterisk, faxing and spandsp 0.3

Hi Axel.

A few months back, when you upgraded asterisk 1.2.13 we lost the
ability to fax as you used spandsp 0.3 instead of the earlier 0.2.

Well, here is how to compile asterisk to support spandsp 0.3

Get the app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c and the patch for the Makefile there.

It works well. Well, almost.

There are cases where receiving a fax could make asterisk crash (it
happens with both asterisk 1.2.12.1 and 1.2.13).

Or better, you could go back to spandsp 0.2, I had no problem using
spandsp 0.2 with asterisk 1.2.13 (I know you had issued earlier, but I
can't figure out why)
