Hm, what about glibc and openssl? What arch are these?

rpm -q --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}.rpm\n' glibc openssl

They should be i686.

That looks OK. Under FC6 there in only the SMP kernel for i386/x86_64.
