OK, I probably know what's wrong.
Somehow all apps look for /etc/gtk-2.0/i386-redhat-linux-gnu/
but, this directory doesn't exist. Instead it should be looking
for /etc/gtk-2.0/i686-redhat-linux-gnu/ which exists and does contain the
necessary files.
I guess this is a FC6 bug and not related to smart or any ATrpms package.
