The something is fishy, try finding out why gtk and glib2 don't like
each other, e.g. use rpm -V on the packages to see whether some
packages were only half-upgraded.

BTW this has nothing directly to do with smart. Probably quite a lot
of gtk software will be failing due to the unresolved symbols in the
gtk package.
