There is your problem. mkinitrd-suspend2-5.0.40 is a development version
which has not the proper dependencies.

You need to either install the stable version for FC5 (5.0.32-3), or if
you want to stick with development (in which case you need to upgrade
the original mkinitrd package from rawhide as well) you should use
5.0.45-2.

After down- or upgrading you need to recreate the initrd:

/sbin/new-kernel-pkg-suspend2 --package kernel --mkinitrd --depmod --suspend2-version=20208 --suspend2-userui=auto --install 2.6.17-1.2174_1.rhfc5.cubbi_suspend2
