[ATrpms-users] kernel modules slow to appear

New user to the list - please point me to the proper links if this is
already covered.
I've noticed recently (last month or two) that certain kernel modules
are slow to show up for new suspend2 kernels. In particular, I use the
alsa, ieee80211 and ipw2200 modules since Suspend2 is the only way I can
reliably get my Toshiba Satellite A105 to suspend. Since the change of
kernel version to 2.6.17, various modules show up in seemingly random
timeframes where they used to be posted within a week (usually faster).
The current kernel, 2.6.17-2174, has modules for alsa and ieee80211
but none for ipw2200 (none of the ipw series, to be exact).
I don't want to be seen as belittling your effort - I likely wouldn't be
using Linux if not for your efforts and site. If I'm just impatient,
please let me know. It's just frustrating to want/need to update to a
new kernel and to be stalled by a missing module. I had stayed at
2.6.16-2122 for a long time because of upgrade issues and was able to go
to 2.6.17-2157 eventually when modules were available. Unfortunately, a
screwup on my part left me with no Suspend2 kernels and no way to get
the latest going. I finally was able to reinstall 2.6.17-2157 so I've
worked my way out of my stupid mistake.
So, that's a long way of asking: are the ipw2200 Suspend2 modules going
to be available for 2.6.17-2174 or am I missing something obvious? Any
feedback is appreciated, as are your efforts. Thanks.
