[ATrpms-users] remote or sound but not both (ivtv 0.6 doesn't like pvr250 sound, ivtv 0.7 doesn't like pvr250 remote)

hey jeff -

i'm using lirc with myth and a pvr-250 here.  got sound and lirc working
fine.  i'm having a problem with the ivtv drivers -- at least that's the
current suspect -- which causes lockups.  but all else works.

i had to do a thingie to lirc in rc.sysinit to get it to come up
consistently.  trick from jarod's site as i dis-remember.
