[ATrpms-users] Lirc won't run FC4

Hi All,

I have been a user of atrpms for some time now by using Jarod's mythtv
how-to guide. Great process using yum. Thanks for the effort that makes life
easy for me :)

I have recently decided to rebuild my mythtv box because I used atp last
time, I wanted to use yum and change a few things that I couldn't get
working like the IR transmitter through the serial port with a 2nd instance
of Lirc.

So the problem I have chased for a couple of weeks now is that I cant get
Lirc to run with either FC5 or FC4.

I am running :
an Athlon 1.6G (Clock speed, not name)
VIA motherboard
PVR 350 PAL-I UK spec.
Nvidia GXF

This is the output from the FC4 install which includes Jarod's rc.sysinit
patch I have also tried with and with out the kernel from atrpms - this
output is the atrpms kernel. Can anyone see what I have done wrong or a
route to fix the problem please?
