I think I have enough swap space. This is in /etc/fstab:
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01        swap                    swap    defaults
                 0 0

This is what fdisk says about LogVol01:
Disk /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01: 2080 MB, 2080374784 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 252 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Disk /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 doesn't contain a valid partition table

As for version of the nvidia driver, not that I'm still booting 1833_FC4:
[mythtvuser at mediapc ~]$ rpm -qa | grep nvidia
kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.15-1.1831_FC4-1.0.8178-0.lvn.3.4
nvidia-graphics-devices-1.0-4.rhfc4.at
nvidia-glx-1.0.8178-0.lvn.3.4
kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.16-1.2069_FC4-1.0.8178-0.lvn.4
kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.15-1.1833_FC4-1.0.8178-0.lvn.3.4
nvidia-graphics8178-kmdl-2.6.16-1.2069_FC4-1.0_8178-71.rhfc4.at

I think that unless other people report this same symptom, it'll get ignored.
 I was hoping that it wasn't just me.
