Ok, removing the list folder is not a good idea :-) Just created it
again and things worked.
The problem remains though.
What I also see is this error:
Err http://kde-redhat.atrpms.net fedora/4/i386/stable pkglist
Could not open file
/var/state/apt/lists/partial/kde-redhat.atrpms.net_apt_kde-redhat_fedora_4_i386_
base_pkglist.stable - open (2 No such file or directory)
while a file called kde-redhat.atrpms.net_apt_kde-redhat_fedora_4_i386_
base_pkglist.stable.decomp _does_ exist. Does that mean anything?
I tried your wget/bzip2 test and it does work on my system as well. So
that's not it, so why still all these errors? Any ideas?
