Ok, I've done a considerable amount of testing, and no matter what I
try the sync issue persists. I've tried doing 1400mb, 128kbps mp3, and
have also tried using the official Windows DivX player on a different
computer to play the avi to rule out mplayer (and also tried mplayer's
-noaspect flag to prevent rescaling). I've also tried a couple of
different movies, all to the same effect. I've also tried changing
--accel 3dnow to --accel mmx. Nothing seems to fix the sync issue.
Is there a lack of replies because no one else is having this problem,
or because no one else on atrpms is using dvdrip/transcode? Am I the
first one to successfully get transcode/dvdrip to run properly? I did
have one heck of a time fighting dependencies between the repos...
If someone is able to transcode vob files without an audio sync
delay, could you please paste your transcode command so I could give
it a shot?
Thanks,
