I agree that the kernels have been a mess.  A lot of that is upstream as
well.  However my machine is multi-purpose and FC suits me better than
RHEL.  I need the most up to date pieces for my Palm Pilot for example.

I don't mind FC4 being delayed compares to RHEL since I generally wait a
while before upgrading kernels.

I will also offer some computing cycles from my computers to compile
packages if that would help you.
