I recently ran apt-get update;
apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade
which took my mythtv from version 15 or 16 up to 18.1 Put it made my
plug-ins (like gallery, weather, etc) disappear.
I am running Fedora Core 1 having followed Jarod guide a while ago.
[root at mythtv root]# apt-get install mythtv-suite

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely
that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed. The following information may help to
resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mythtv-suite: Depends: mythplugins (>= 0.18.1) but it is not
installable
E: Broken packages
[root at mythtv root]#
Here are the myth RPMs that I *do* have installed:
[root at mythtv root]# rpm -qa | grep myth
mythtv-theme-visor-0.16.2-5.at
mythtv-theme-purplegalaxy-0.20031214-3.at
mythtv-frontend-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
mythtv-theme-MediaCenter-0.17-4.at
mythtv-theme-sleek-0.35-2.at
mythtv-theme-abstract-0.20040910-2.at
mythtv-backend-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
libmyth-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
mythtv-setup-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
mythtv-theme-photo-4-6.at
mythmkmovie-1.0.1-3.rhfc1.at
mythtv-themes-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
myththemes-0.18-104.at
mythweb-0.18-67.at
mythtv-0.18.1-110.rhfc1.at
mythtv-theme-MythCenter-0.17-1.at
mythtv-theme-isthmus-0.20040804-1.at
Can someone please help me out? I miss being able to view family pics
and videos from inside MythTV.
btw, if I try to install mythvideo, I get this error:
[root at mythtv root]# apt-get install mythvideo

And lastly, if I choose this menu sequence:
Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> MediaSettings > Videos Settings, I get
this error on the console:
Enter selection: /usr/lib/mythtv/plugins/liblibmythvideo.so: cannot
